 Friday 1/30/26 I went to the doctor today..  pneumonia is cleared up. No longer contagious. Joint pain, fuzzy head, fatigue, etc, was side effect of antibiotics. I shall not take it in the future. I finished it all. Cough is no better. Got more cough medicine today. Doc said I should begin to feel better soon. Said I have ugly lungs. I have a lot of scars from my embolisms. Breathing is labored still, but I should be over the worst now. 

  Wednesday, 1/28/26 I think I’m finally getting a handle on this crud. I feel like today I have at least turned the corner towards recovery.

 Today is Friday, January 23, 2026. I have been sick all week. Went to the doctor today and found out I have pneumonia. She gave me some medicine and said if I wasn’t feeling better my Sunday to go to the ER. I have to admit, it’s been a lousy week, and I feel worse today than I have all week.

  1/17/2026  Saturday Geez, I haven't written in forever.  I've been waiting for the report to arrive from Las Vegas with my scans for my oncologist.  They said they sent them on the 13th, so maybe I'll hear something this next week.  I have to go back to MD Anderson in Houston on 2/7 for an ultrasound.  While we're in the vicinity, we're going to attend a Mardi-Gras party with friends.  It ought to be fun. Our friend, Jeff, planned to come to our house to borrow a carpet sample for a few days. He said he'd be here at 2:00 p.m. I washed the sheets from our bed today and was going to put them right back on the bed. The mattress is huge and heavy, so David usually helps me with the fitted sheet on the last corner. However, David is out of town this weekend. I got the great idea that when Jeff showed up, he could lift it for me. He didn't arrive until after 2:30 and I had managed to finish making the bed all by myself. When I was done, I started la...
