I saw an occupational therapist yesterday and the rest of the day I was in a world of hurt. Hoo-boy!  She did a number on me. I’m feeling better today, tho. I will do the exercises she gave me at home. The loss of all the lymph nodes and cutting through all the nerves is far worse than the incision site; but it will get better with time. Tomorrow morning I have two appointments. The first one is with my radiology oncologist and after her I will see my regular oncologist. Things have changed since I first saw them - lots more cancer was found. So, I have a long list of questions and have high hopes that I will get all the answers I need. I will be there perhaps 3 hours and will update my blog later tomorrow. We have a lady bug infestation in our RV.  David is on a seek-and-destroy mission today. One flew down my shirt this morning and after that, they were no longer “cute”. It was a one-handed retrieval that probably amused any neighbors looking into the RV windows. It’s hard to be discreet when your left arm is pretty useless and you just entered panic mode. On a good note - I am able to get dressed by myself and even  change my own bandage.  I can shower by myself, too! Life is good.

  1. I had a lady bug infestation in the front corner bedroom of the Linda Lane house. I know what you mean about them losing their 'cuteness'. I certainly didn't want those little buggers crawling on me in the middle of the night. eek!
