6/9/21 - Wednesday
I am feeling a bit better today, but not good enough to drive, so David took me to my MRI today. They initially told me it was without contrast, and that was what was on the document they mailed me, but they stuck the needle in my arm and did it with contrast after all. She said the doctor called and changed the order. I studied hard for that test, so I should get a passing grade. We'll see. I called the cardiologist again today and left another message. They finally called me back this afternoon. Geez. I have an appointment Friday afternoon at 2:00, so I have plenty of time to study for that, too.
I woke up with my face on fire again. My neck and chest were red, also. I took 2 Benadryl and it took 2 hours for the redness to start receding, but it went away. I guess I'd better just expect it after every treatment from now on. The good news is: I only have 3 more! June 29th will be my last chemo. Then I have a short break, then radiation. I've just got to hang on for 3 more weeks then all these symptoms should start to let up. I need to ask when I can have a real drink again. I haven't had any liquor since last year. Chemo is bad for my liver and alcohol just makes it worse, so I've abstained. I've been reallllly good these past 5-1/2 months and am ready for a glass of wine!
If you had to choose between drinking wine every day or being skinny, which would you choose?
Red or white?
White !! MeS
