It’s Thursday. I went to physical therapy this morning. I was scheduled for an hour, but they kept me there for two hours. Part of the time they were torturing me, but I made it through. I actually did feel better by the time I left. My left elbow has been giving me grief ever since I had surgery on January 7. It will ease up, then be a booger, then ease up, then the cycle starts over again. The last couple of days have been pretty painful. She asked me about it and I told her my elbow was giving me grief. She took one look at it and knew exactly what was wrong. I am cording. My lymph node system is rebelling and it’s making everything bunch up inside. It wakes me up all night long, so I don’t get a good nights sleep. So, this evening I made a homemade thingamajig to keep my arm mostly straight at night. I took a towel and wrapped it around my arm, and then held it in place with duct tape. Duct tape fixes everything, so it’s going to help fix my arm tonight. We’ll see if it will stay on all night or not. It’s a good thing David is not here, because I have to have more room on my left side because my arm sticks out. If he was here, I probably whap him in the head middle of the night.
I shopped online for compression garments most of the afternoon. Just got more frustrated. Not much luck. I have to be at MD Anderson at 7 AM tomorrow morning for bloodwork. I need my white count to have gone up considerably, so cross your fingers I have some good luck with that. I have a dry run in the radiology department at 4 PM tomorrow.
They told me that appointment would last more than an hour, and it’ll be rush-hour by the time I’m out of there. I have an early morning appointment on Monday morning, so I’ve decided not to go home this weekend. I would get home extremely late on Friday night, or leave on Saturday morning for home. Then, Sunday afternoon, I’d have to turn around and come back. That’s 450 miles. Maybe next weekend.
While I was shopping online this afternoon, I ordered a chicken and an egg from Amazon.
I’ll let you know.
Hahaha….hate to admit it, but had to read the last sentence 2x then laughed at myself for my……’duh’…have a good weekend
