9/7/21

Today is Tuesday. I’m back in Houston. Unwillingly. When I was home, I went into the kitchen to look at the calendar. It was on July. What happened to August?!? I missed August. Poop.

David took me downtown this morning for my appointment at the main hospital. Echocardiogram. About 40 minutes into the ordeal, he says he can’t see well enough. Says I need to have an IV inserted and have a difinity,or something like that. I asked him if it involved candy, but he said no. There’s no V. I said I didn’t want it then. He looked at me and said “really?”  Gads. People are way too serious these days. He said a nurse would come in, put the IV in and then put in a bubble. Yeah, a bubble. Ok. He said it was like dye, but wouldn’t go to my organs like dye. It would dissipate through my breathing. So, that’s what we did. 1/2 way through, he said he still couldn’t see well enough and he called the nurse to put in another bubble. So, we did it again. He finished up and I left.

We stopped for a bite to eat and then headed to my radiation appointment.  I was supposed to be there at 12:45 for treatment and then see the doctor right afterwards.  When we got there, they said the machine was busted and they were backed up. There are 3 machines and by the time I got out of my doctor appointment, another machine broke. So, now they’re down to one and really backed up. Long story - short, I got out at 4:00. Gads.

Then I got a message from the hospital that my test results were done so I logged on to read them. They said that my pictures didn’t show enough, visibility was poor. I reckon the bubbles didn’t work so well.  So, all in all, it was a glorious day. Whatcha’ think?

The doctor said tomorrow would be my last regular day. She will unleash her super powers on Thursday.  I will have 5 days of intense radiation to finish up.

Tomorrow morning I’m getting my eyes cauterized, so the day is gonna start out great

Whenever someone says to me “Oh, you look so familiar, where could I know you from?”

MyI say “Do you watch porn?”
