Today is Thursday and it wasn’t much better than yesterday. We are staying in the Hwy 6 RV Resort. I had a package mailed to the office. There is no box number. Only the folks living here have box numbers. All other mail simply goes to the office. The post office says they delivered my package 2 days ago to “the box”. It took most of today to figure out that they delivered it to box #6. You have no idea what I went through just to figure that out. You just can’t fix stupid.
The tech that does the trunk pump screwed up the paperwork and when I called today to check on it, she said she’ll have to send it to my house because it won’t be shipped in time. I will have to get the rep out of Dallas to come fit it for me. She comes to Tyler one day a week. By appointment only. I’ve been waiting 5 months for this thing, so what’s a few more weeks, right?
Wait - the day gets better and better. I have learned my pain doctor’s nurse cannot read. That must be the problem. She sent my pain Rx to Tyler after I sent the local pharmacy info to her. I was out today. Needed it. Today. After 1/2 the day was gone, she sent it in. The pharmacy texted me that it would be filled in “1 or 2” days I called them to see if it could be expedited. She said no. And…. It would arrive next Tuesday at the earliest. What?!? Didn’t you just send me a text….. frick! Never mind. I contacted the doctor again and explained the problem. She called it in to the pharmacy at Methodist hospital She said it would be ready in 45 minutes. 2 hours later, I am still in the line. She says I have to get it filled there from this day forward. I explained that I don’t live here. Doesn’t matter. State law. OMG. This day just went downhill further. If that’s even possible.
I had my super radiation today and will have it the next 4 days. It took a little longer, but it was no big deal. The hair follicles on my chest are extremely aggravated now and, well, it’s miserable. The creams aren’t helpful enough and it’s, well, miserable. Did I mention it’s miserable? I guess I did.
Today kinda sucked. It’s gotta be a better day tomorrow.
I have a question for ya’ll:
Who, exactly, is Pete, and why do we keep doing things for his sake?
Today’s 3 year olds can operate a cell phone, iPad, laptop, etc.
When I was 3, I ate mud. I’m not making this up.
Hang in there, Patty! We are still praying for you.
