My daughter told me I was overdue updating my blog. So, here I am. I had a lovely Thanksgiving with my family and I hated to see them all go home. I'll be going to Houston in a week and we'll stay with Courtney again. I have scans and ultrasounds at MD Anderson on Monday morning, 12/6. I will see my oncologist and my surgeon that afternoon. Tuesday afternoon, 12/7, I see my radiation oncologist. That's Pearl Harbor Day. Think of me that day and pray for a good report, please. I have a few issues they will need to hear about, so I hope I'm in and out in 2 days. I'm going to take a few extra changes of clothing, just in case. My gut sometimes give me a lot of grief and I'm still throwing up occasionally. Neither of these things are great. I'm still pretty tired and could sleep all day, if circumstances would allow. There are a few more items I need to discuss with them, too. I never run out of interesting symptoms to talk about. My life is anything but boring.
On the back of my head, my hair is a tad over an inch long. Not so much on the rest of my head, tho. I have a giant cowlick on the back of my head and two little ones in front. It looks like I have horns coming in there, I think. My hair is perhaps 1/2 inch long in front. It's coming in curly in the back and the sides and is straight as a board on top. Weird. My hair was always straight, so the curls are somewhat amusing. I'll let you know if horns truly pop out.
My house is decorated for Christmas and there are even presents under the tree. The kids helped us get everything out of the attic and do the house before they left. It was divine.
I have a riddle for you this evening - since I'm now on a Christmas theme.
What do you call Santa's helpers?
No. Not elves. Don't even go there.
They're subordinate clauses, of course.
