Now it's Sunday.  I skipped a day.  I've got to say right up front here, that I'm more than a bit disappointed that not a single person called 'Trixie'.  If the price was too high, you could've asked for a discount.  I'm just sayin'.  Geez.

David told me that I woke him up a couple of days ago at 6:00 a.m.  He said I was singing in bed.  He rolled over and looked at me and I was asleep and my mouth was closed.  He said he reckoned I was humming, not actually singing.  I don't recall such a thing and he said he can't remember the tune, so I told him he dreamt the entire ordeal.  He was adamant I was humming.... that's just weird.

I got up yesterday at 5:30 and started my day.  I was really thirsty, so I went to the kitchen first and got a glass of orange juice (vitamin C, you know).  I brushed my teeth, showered and dressed and went out to the den where David was sitting, watching the news.  He had been working for hours and hours and was ready to eat.  How's that, you say?  Well, I left out an important detail.  Two letters, actually.  p & m.  I got up for the day at 5:30 p.m.  My body was plum wore out.  I can't handle a common cold like a normal person, I reckon.  My immune system is too low to successfully fight off infections.  I have no idea how I caught a cold in the first place.  It has boggled both David's mind, and mine.  I went to bed at my normal time last night and slept all night again.  It's noon now and I'm fixin' to take a nap.  My head is wobbly.

David has gone to Houston, but will be home tomorrow afternoon/evening sometime.  He's picking out fans and lights for our remodel.  I sent him with a list and pictures on his phone, so I've got to trust him to get some cool stuff. I'm not feeling well enough to make the 4 hour drive (each way), so I'm holding down the fort.  We don't fly out until Wednesday, so I've got to be better than this.  We don't actually get on the boat until Saturday because we're spending a few days in Key West first.  We probably won't snorkel until at least Sunday, so I think I'll be able to breathe like normal by then.

One of my friends is getting a divorce.  He's been married quite awhile, so it's pretty sad.  He's been retired for a few years, and his wife recently retired.  She was only a whiskey maker, but he loved her still.
