Today is Sunday.  I haven't written for awhile, but ya'll didn't miss much.  My oncologist told me she wasn't worried about my cancer antigen results being flagged.  She said they were high last time, too.  She said every time they've checked for the antigens, they've been high.  I had no idea.  She said they hadn't gone up enough since last the time for her to be concerned.  I said I was concerned.  She understood, but told me they've never gone away.  The cancer cells have always been floating around in my bloodstream.  She once again reminded me that it's not 'if' my cancer comes back, but 'when'.  I said, 'yeah, yeah'.  My lymph node freeway is active with traffic and she's keeping an eye on my counts.  That's why she wants me on estrogen blockers and chemo pills.  I started the estrogen blocker a week ago and have been tolerating it well, so far.  My kind of cancer feeds on estrogen, it appears, so I hope I can tolerate this one long-term.  They want me on it for 10 years.  It's the last one in their arsenal, but new advances in cancer treatment arise every day.  I won't start on the chemo drug until after my next scans and blood work.  That's in June.  I will have an MRI then and more blood work, too.

My joints are giving me grief.  Shoulders, hip, knees.  However, I did walk to a neighbors' house a couple of days ago.  I think it's around 100 yards, so I'm getting better.  It'll be time this week for me to schedule an appointment with the spinal stimulator dude to program my settings.  I'm healed enough now.  Perhaps that will help some more.

We took the cover off the pool this evening.  It was easy-peasy with the new pool cover.  The pool looks pretty good, too, but it's supposed to rain tomorrow, so cleaning will have to wait.

Our newly remodeled guest bathroom is almost completed.  David finished installing the new sink this weekend and I've been painting accessories.  No leaks.  Cudos to the Aggie engineer I was lucky enough to marry.

Earth day is once again upon us.  A million kids want to clean up the earth.  A million parents would love it if they would start with their bedrooms.

I finally figured something out.  The reason we call them 'cell phones'.  People are prisoners of their phones.
