It’s Wednesday. I was reminded today that I have not posted since last Wednesday. i’m doing better each day and I’m going to try and drive tomorrow. It’s been a couple of months since I’ve driven my car. David is out of town this week, but he paid a visit to the grocery store and filled up the refrigerator and pantry before he left. He takes good care of me, whether he’ll admit it, or not.

I’m taking it pretty slow. If I work on a project one day, I’m pretty much useless the next.  I don’t think the medication is fully out of my system yet, so I’m not starting a new one.  My hair is still falling out.  Weather permitting, David and I are going camping in Oklahoma next week. Sunday to Friday. It’s been many months since we’ve had the RV out, and I am so ready. We’re going to Beavers Bend State Park and it’s only 169 miles from our house. It’s not so far away that if I get sick, we can’t haul ass home again. I got us a spot right on the river, so even if it rains, I’ll have a gorgeous view from inside.

Some people think it’s a good idea for us to take the RV out for a little while. Some people think I’m not ready to go anywhere. Sometimes I think some people should use glue stick instead of Chapstick. I could just do a sneaky switcheroo. They look so much alike anyway.

I haven’t gotten back in the tub since my last escapade. I’ve been walking laps in my pool, and then showering outside, instead. It’s been too dang hot to do anything else. Then, yesterday, the rain hit. It dropped the temperature down into the upper 80s, which is delightful for a change. However, it also dropped the pool temperature 10°. I’m not that brave.

The definition of ‘home cooking’: where every husband thinks his wife is.
