2/27/24 It’s Tuesday. We got home from MD Anderson yesterday evening. My MRI Took forever. They said it would be two hours, but I was there 3 1/2 hours. Ugh. I will get those results with a phone call this Friday afternoon. The MRI of my back is day after tomorrow, but I don’t know when I will get those results.  The procedure on my back last week, took an hour longer than I was told, also. David had quite a wait in the car. Again. I never wanna do that thing again. They said they would give me numbing medicine before they injected my back. The numbing medicine wasn’t that spray on the skin kind. It was a serious injection all by itself. I had nine needles penetrate my back that day. And, every one of them hurt like hell. I don’t know why they don’t give you any pain medicine prior to that procedure, but I will not be doing that again. He had a bit of trouble with the right side, so I got double sticks on that side. I had to lay on my stomach on a hard table. They had me all...
2/20/24 Geez, I still can't get used to typing 2024.  I still remember the book '1984'.  Gads.  That was 40 years ago.  Ha!  And my earrings still fit!  David got home on the evening of my birthday, so we spent Valentine's and his birthday the next day, together.  It was nice.  I surprised him with a dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant on his birthday.  Our friends were already seated when we walked in.  Heh, heh.  We danced a little bit and came home and played poker with friends.  Good day.  I had an appointment with my back doctor on Friday and he booked an outpatient procedure for tomorrow.  I have an MRI of my back next Thursday, too - mostly because the right side of my body is numb to the touch.  A good portion of it, actually.  Front my neck to my foot.  Something's amiss.  I'll have an IV tomorrow, and for the MRI, so David will have to drive me.  Again.  We will go ...
2/13/24 It's my birthday.  I'm 68 years old today.  Woo-Hoo!  David and flew to Lake Tahoe for 5 days and it was very nice.  It was a casino charter (hence, it was free.) and I won enough to cover David's gambling, so it was a win.  I've had physical therapy twice/week ever since then, but haven't noticed any change.  I went yesterday and he told me I may as well quit.  Well, ok, then.  Bye.     I had a hearing test on 2/2.  I flunked.  Obviously, I didn't study hard enough, but it's too late now.  It's been posted in my permanent record.  They gave me a printout of my results.  Yuck.  My left ear is mildly affected. No biggee.  My right ear is exactly in between 'severe' and 'profound'.  Good Golly MIss Molly.  It still hasn't popped and it's been 8 weeks now.  He said to call him in a month if it hadn't popped.  I've got a nose spray.  Whoopee.      ...
