It’s Tuesday. We got home from MD Anderson yesterday evening. My MRI Took forever. They said it would be two hours, but I was there 3 1/2 hours. Ugh. I will get those results with a phone call this Friday afternoon. The MRI of my back is day after tomorrow, but I don’t know when I will get those results.

The procedure on my back last week, took an hour longer than I was told, also. David had quite a wait in the car. Again. I never wanna do that thing again. They said they would give me numbing medicine before they injected my back. The numbing medicine wasn’t that spray on the skin kind. It was a serious injection all by itself. I had nine needles penetrate my back that day. And, every one of them hurt like hell. I don’t know why they don’t give you any pain medicine prior to that procedure, but I will not be doing that again. He had a bit of trouble with the right side, so I got double sticks on that side. I had to lay on my stomach on a hard table. They had me all prepped and ready for him, and my back was absolutely killing me to lay that way. He got hung up on a previous case, so was late coming in. I don’t know how long I lay there before he showed up, but I was in such pain. It was almost unbearable. So that’s how the procedure started. I was already hurting so much, at times, I thought I might pass out. And, on top of that, it does not seem to be helping yet. So, I may have gone through all that for absolutely nothing.

I’ve been feeling a little bit puny in the past week or so. Not sure what’s up. I get dizzy, more like lightheaded, several times a day. My pulse is too high. My oxygen is too low. My hair is falling out. Just not feeling quite up to par.

Since I had to be down in Houston, we stayed at Courtney‘s house this past weekend and had a nice visit. I now wear the same size shoe as my seven-year-old grandson.

I have a riddle today:

What do you call an ant that keeps financial records?

An accountant.
