Well, here I am again. I had the cancer removed from my head, and it turned out to be quite large. She had to stitch me up with an S shape. It was either that, or take a skin graft from somewhere else. I had about 20 stitches in it. I still have a scab on my head. The incision on my arm is healing up nicely, and the scabs are all gone. I saw my cardiologist again and he took me off the nitroglycerin. It wasn’t helping. He wants to wait for the endoscopy results before we move on. I cannot wear my CPAP mask because it sits directly on top of my incision on my head, which has not healed yet. I went to the pulmonologist, and he said just to wait until it heals, then start up again. I have a hole in my head that my finger fits in. Now, if someone asks me what’s wrong with me, and do you have a hole in your head? I can honestly say yes, yes I do! I went to my oncologist on Friday, and she was not pleased that I had two different kind of cancers removed. She was going to get the pathology report from the dermatologist. They drew about 5 gallons of blood out of me that afternoon, too. I had my regular blood test and then I had my CTDNA test. I will get those results in another week or two. That’s the blood test that will show if I have any cancer cells floating around in my bloodstream. Just the cancer cells identical to my original cancer. Not any other kind of cancers. Unfortunately, my whole white blood cell count took a nose dive. This is not good. She told me to be careful. My comb-over plan for my hair didn’t work very well. Not enough left to come over and every time the wind blows, it all moves back to its original place. So, I just leave it alone and tell people it was a shark attack, and I fought him off with my head.
