Fast growing, irritated, seborrheic keratosis. I had to write that quick before I forgot what it was called. That’s what the dermatologist took off my head today. She said it was extremely fast growing because it was quite large and it wasn’t there two weeks ago. She told me to sit down and hang on because this one was going to hurt. She didn’t want me to be surprised. Good golly, Miss Molly. I didn’t think she was ever going to stop. Hurt was an understatement. I took a couple of extra strength Tylenol when I got home and they’re finally starting to kick in. It feels like you have a lit match held against my skin. She took the stitches out of my back, but it’s a little bit redder than it should be, so I have to watch it. Watch it? I can’t even see it. At least the pokey things are gone. I have to see her every three months. I’m just over joyed that this last thing wasn’t more cancer. I did not want to have more stitches because I have a trip planned. David and I are leaving on Monday for a 2200 mile RV trip back east. We’re going to go see the girls and get in some sightseeing and visit places we’ve never been to before. We will be gone a month. I didn’t have any doctor visits scheduled for the month of April, which is nothing short of a miracle, so that’s when we planned this trip. Now, they’re going to schedule me for a ultrasound of my kidney and that might screw up the works. They haven’t called yet to schedule it though. I waited three months for my records to be sent, so I may just have to wait one more month for the ultrasound.
