I haven't posted in a very long time.  We took te RV on a month-long trip back east and drove almost 3,000 miles.  I'm not going to tell you how much we spent on fuel.  It would boggle your mind.  We did have a wonderful time, tho.  We came home a few days early so we could be sure and attend a good friend's funeral.  We were good buddies for 41 yers and it hit me hard.  A week after his death, my older brother, Karl, died.  Kinda got hit with two whammies there, along with a few other death defying instances.  Sigh.  Stressful few weeks, for sure.  Sure did a number on my sleep schedule.  Some nights I didn't sleep at all.  

I went to the oncologist last week and am awaiting my ctDNA test results now.  I should have them any day now.  I found 5 more spots on my head that are suspicious.  I see the dermatologist in 1-1/2 weeks.  Cross your fingers.... 

I've been to the Pulmonologist and he gave me 3 new cpap masks to try because the old one is horrible and I keep taking it off in the middle of the night.  So far, June has been relatively quiet and I've even been in the pool.  I don't go down to MD Anderson until August.

I'm not sure whether to keep posting, or not.  I'm told to keep doing it, but I'm sure getting lazy.  I'll try and do better....

We went swimming yesterday and David said he was going to to put on his bathing suit.  I said I was going to get on my swimsuit.  He always calls it a bathing suit, but he never bathes in it.  He swims in it.  I find that odd.

Another thing - why is it called a 'restroom'?  You don't rest in there.  You do your business and get out.  You don't take a nap.  And the other alternative?  Bathroom.  Right.  You don't go in there to take a bath, either.  You - well, you know what you do.  We have a 1/2 bath, too.  But you can't take a bath in there.  There's no tub.  And, there's no shower, either.  So, why is it called a 1/2 bath?  Who made us these words?!?  I made a sign and hung it in my 1/2 bath.  It says-

 Get Naked!

Just kidding...

This is just a 1/2 bath.

Don't make it weird.

  6/16/25 I’m back. By a show of hands, everyone that loves my charts, and patient portals, etc. raise those hands high! Hmmmm, I see none going up. I have sent messages on my patient portal on several occasions and heard nothing back. So, I call the office and leave a message, because you never get a real person the first time. 12/10/25 Thursday First of all, good news. My latest cancer test came back negative.  I am currently in Las Vegas, supposedly having a grand time, but I am not. I got food poisoning and spent all day yesterday in bed. At least when I wasn’t vomiting or had diarrhea. All dang day. By evening, I was so weak I could barely walk. The hotel called paramedics and they took me to the ER. I was there until 11:30 PM last night. Poor David. I felt so sorry for him. It was a horrible evening and I’m still weak this morning. I haven’t eaten anything since Tuesday evening . We’re supposed to fly home tomorrow. I sure hope I’m better than this by then. I got show tickets for last night with spectacular seats and David had to take them back and get our money back. At least we got to go to the national finals rodeo Tuesday night.   2/9/26 today is Monday. We got home from Houston yesterday afternoon. I went to my appointment at MD Anderson this weekend and had an ultrasound. I will hear the final results from the doctor in a few days, but the ultrasound dude said all that he found was scar tissue. So, I’m going with that. We went to a Mardi Gras party Saturday night and saw a lot of old friends. It was fun. So far, I don’t have any appointments this week.  I was driving down Walnut Hill Drive, which is just outside of our subdivision. The speed limit is 30 mph. I do not speed on that road. Ever. So, I’m cognizant of maintaining the correct speed. My car is equipped with a heads up display in the windshield. I love it because I don’t have to take my eyes off the road when I want to check my speed. So, I’m driving down Walnut Hill and looking at my heads up display to check my speed.
