Patty's epic adventure

  11/28/24 Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!! I waited too long to post, I know, but I've been busy.  Courtney and family are moving back here and come up often to house-hunt, so my house is full and I often go with them.  I go to pool therapy every Monday and Wednesday now to try and help my back and hips.  I had my records sent to a new eye doctor and saw him on the 14th.  He told me I now have astigmatisms in both eyes, which was a bit disconcerting, to say the least.  He gave me a prescription for glasses, but they haven't come in yet, so I'm still blind as a bat.  My old eye doctor refunded all the money I spent there and I walked away.  We attended a birthday party on the 16th, here in Flint and a surprise party on the 23rd in Dallas.  That was pretty fun, I gotta tell ya.  On the 27th, I got two hip injections to try and help my bursitis, but they're still pretty dang sore, so I've been sitting and icing those.  We're going to Ry...

 11/11/24 - Monday Today was not my best day, but it was  a Monday... I slept lousy last night, so they day started out icky.  I had to go to pool physical therapy this morning, so headed out the door on time, only to find they had my route closed for 'utility work'.  Ok, backtrack and find another road.  I made it to my appointment on time, so that was good.  They filled the pool a bit full this time and I could barely touch the bottom on tippy-toe.  That made it difficult to gain any traction walking my laps.  I mostly stood in place.  sigh.  When I was done, I climbed back in my car and a spider came down from the roof on his web into my lap.  I was hoping no one was watching me doing my 'spider antics'.  When I got home, my legs were stuck to my seat.  I wasn't wet, but my skin was damp and it felt like I was peeling my skin off the seat - inch by inch.  I put on one of David's fishing shirts and a pair of spandex...

  11/8/24 - Friday Holy cow, I've got to write more often or give this up.  I can't remember enough between  posts.  Here's what I know... I got a new computer.  It's really cool and I love it, however, I'm NOT used to the new keyboard yet.  Might go back to my old one - not sure yet.  I got an All-in-one, instead of a laptop since I'm not working any more.  Yes, I had my old one for over 9 years.  Hush.  I know, I know. I got a phone call from my eye doctor (it's easier spelling out eye doctor than opthalmologist)  Ok, that's wrong and I'm not going to fix it.  He's supposed to be evaluating my chart.... uh, huh.  We'll see.  Get it?  We'll see?  Ha! Since I last wrote, I saw my pain dr. for my back.  There's basically nothing he can do except prescribe stuff.  Phooey. I had a stress test at the cardiologist and that turned out pretty good.  He said he can't provide evidence of a heart attack...
